We’ll be launching our alternative provision for primary school pupils (years 5 & 6) at the PiPeLine Productions Academy for the Urban Arts, Bradford after the October half term (Wednesday 4th November). The provision, based around arts and artistic activities will take place one day a week, Wednesdays, 10am-2pm, dedicated to working with up to 15 pupils from years 5 & 6. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis and can be bought in blocks.
Pupils will engage in a wide variety of artistic activities including but not limited to:
- Drawing & painting
- Digital graffiti art
- Canvas art
- Aerosol art (outdoors, weather permitting)
- Graphic design/Computer image manipulation
- Model making
- Music technology/Studio recording
- Various forms of dance
- Arts Award for Young People
The provision, perhaps currently the only of its kind in the district next to our primary provision in Keighley, is aimed at early intervention for pupils displaying problematic behaviours that could lead them towards the road of education disengagement, future secondary alternative education, or PRU referral.
All of our staff are fully vetted, trained and hold enhanced DBS certificates. Our centre is fully insured, risk assessed, and health & safety checked. Policies and documents are available on request.
From £40 per pupil per day. Please get in touch if you would like further information.
